Bring child suicides to zero.

More than 10,000 children and adolescents under the age of 18 die by suicide in India each year. Our mission is to bring this number down to 0.

India’s suicide rate for children (age 14–18) is 10 per 100,000 population, nearly 2.5x the global average.

September 2025

Launched 10K2ZERO

The initiative was launched through a virtual panel discussion bringing together sector experts, researchers and advocates with lived experience.

The discussion focused on adolescent suicide as a growing public health crisis that requires urgent attention and collective action. India has one of the highest numbers of child and adolescent suicides globally.
